ICQ is one of the most ingenious on-line programs I have ever used. With ICQ, you no longer have to meet your chat pals at a certain chat room and at a certain time. ICQ allows you to see at a glance when any of your chat pals are on the net, no matter where they are. You can send instant messages to them, transfer files, chat in an ICQ chat room, check your e-mail from within ICQ and more. There is also external programs you can add to ICQ, making it a more complete internet communications setup. ICQ is fantastic. This is one program you need to have on your system.

You can build you're own 3D world, house, etc and assign hyper-links to things like street signs, pictures hanging on the walls and so on. As a registered user you can send private messages to others via telegram, you get more characters to choose from and no one can delete what you have built. This is truly the most amazing chat program you will ever encounter. However, to chat here, you must have a minimum of a Pentium 133, 33.6k modem and preferably 32 megs of RAM. Are you an gamer who loves to play good first person perspective games such as Quake? If so, then you need Kingpin A Life Of Crime. The game was released by Xatrix in 1999 and has taken millions by storm. This game is quite is quite different from others. Rather than play the part of the good guy, you play a gang member trying to infiltrate another gangs turf. There are friendly guys you can talk to in order to get clues and info in return for a favour or money. But be warned, approach a friendly guy with your weapon unholstered and you are likely to be shot. You can purchase weapons, ammo, health and other weapon modifications from the Pawn-o-matic shop, hire some guys to build your gang as you go along, take money from your victims if they have any and generally go on an all out shooting spree. The game has two installations. One being the censored installation, the other being the full, uncensored installation which includes blood, guts and full on adult language. The game is built using the Quake 2 game engine and also comes with QERadiant to allow you to build your own single player or Death Match online levels. The full version of the game can still be purchased and there are links on Kingpin Forever to places that sell the game. It allows you to play single player or against anything up to 20 people online in an all out frag fest. This is truly an incredible game. Better than Half Life, Quake and many others in my opinion. So, if you havent been Kingpinned yet, it's about time you do.
