Welcome to the newest addition to my website. This section is all about maps, or levels, i have made for a PC game i play online, called Kingpin Life Of Crime. This game is built upon the Quake 2 game engine, and the techniques used to edit, design & compile custom made maps for Kingpin is much the same as the techniques used for making maps in Quake 2.

In this section, i will show screen shots of maps i have made and released onto game servers that support online gameplay for Kingpin Life of Crime. Also included are various Kingpin related links, and Kingpin Mapping Tutorials for those who want to learn how to edit, design, compile and play their own custom made Kingpin maps. Whether you want to make maps for single player mode or online server play, you'll learn all you need to know to get you to understanding all the concepts, techniques, tips and tricks for making your very own custom made Kingpin Life Of Crime levels.

There is also a section to view screen shots of maps that I currently am working on. This will be updated when a new map has begun initial creation & testing, etc, keeping you informed of map updates.

Kingpin Life of Crime was released in 1999 by Xatrix Entertainment Inc. During installation, you are given 2 different options of installation. One that filters profanity, gore, etc, and the second option where the filter was switched off, allowing all profanity, blood and gore, etc. The game also requires that you have a 3D Graphics Accelerator card installed in your computer to be able to play.

There was alot of controversy toward this game from those that were against PC games that portrayed violence, and an all round nasty, cruel nature. Yet because the game included an option to install the filtered version, it was passed and released onto the shop shelves.

The entire game is based on one gang member who gets a beating by 2 other gang members. He decides to pay them back, but to do so, he has to infiltrate the other gangs turf and eliminate all gang members that try to get in his way and stop him. However, that's where the simplistic side of the story ends.

In this game, not every thug is an enemy that will pop you off as quick as spotting you. Some of them will give you clues, rewards, information, etc to help you get further in the game, and some of them will try to blow your head off with a shotgun or something more powerful like the Tommy Gun, Rocket Launcher or Heavy Machine Gun (H.M.G.) for example.

The weapons available in Kingpin Life of Crime range from the mild piece of pipe to the deadly H.M.G. and Flame Thrower. These weapons are as follows;

• Pipe.
• Pistol.
• Shotgun.
• Tommy Gun.
• Heavy Machine Gun.
• Grenade Launcher.
• Rocket Launcher.
• Flame Thrower.

There are also weapon modifications you can pick up along the way to boost your weapons power for a set amount of time. The cooling mod slots onto the end of the H.M.G. to keep this high powered weapon cooler, allowing better, more faster fire power. There's also a silencer, rate of fire and magnum mod for the pistol.

You can find other items too such as head, body & leg armour, large and small health packs, a backpack with a supply of ammo and a steroid pack which knocks you back to full health and more. You can even go through your victims pockets and take their money, etc. After all, they're a victim now. They wont need it anymore. LOL. This is actually quite handy as you need as much money as you can find to buy more ammo, weapons, and other items, recruit gang members and others with special skills, and more.
